  1. Emil Pieniniemi has massive potential. He’s a young defenseman so he’ll need this year in the AHL but I’m excited to see what he’s going to bring to Wilkes.

  2. I hope you're obviously going to bring up some of the rule changes that they have implemented for this season! How ltir is going to work and salaries of players being moved from one team to another

  3. DK – When it comes to developing prospects, one of the more common areas of improvement we hear about is skating. Now, that can obviously mean different things based on the specific skating issue and skating is clearly one of the more crucial skills needed to stick in the NHL. Case in point, Emil Pieniniemi, another Fin in the system; I've read skating is the main area of focus for him. How realistic is it to improve skating in prospects? Any examples of Pens' prospects who did it successfully you can think of?

  4. Thank you DK, Nice add by the way. Things are ramping up. One of the most interesting things is the new coaching and development. If it turns out well we should have a good season, or better. Great show DK

  5. I don't know how true it is but I talked to one of my Carolina hurricane fan friends and he said ponomarev was always going to leave when his contract expired. He couldn't wait to leave the US and was homesick. So having him thrown in the guentzel trade kind of diminishes what we got for him. A player that was always going to go when his deal was up.
