I watched the documentary too. They believe the mother had bully Munchhausen syndrome. I think there is still more to the story. How the daughter reacted when she found out her mom was the one that had been sending the messages and showed no anger towards her mother and wanted to console her mother I thought was weird. Mind you in the documentary the mother says I was not the one that started it, but she just continued it.
