I would say yes. I think they are one substantial piece away from being an "It" team and I say this because I feel like they will be more cohesive together. Just that little extra "omph" in their lineup will suffice
There are always strong support for the GM of Leafs even when Dubas was there , Tree also are getting tons of support although clearly Tree is better however for media only concentrated with the question of acquisition is too shallow, we knew any GM will reply the same and most of the fans do understand the situation in the market HOWEVER all you guys out there as a media, should ask tree WHY 19 and 64 still in the team do they have no market value if this is the case are you telling the fan base you are planning to put two players worth 5 million in the line up who have no NHL value in the up coming season Tree
Shame on the current Leafs management never learn from their previous management mistakes, with the previous president knew Mitch wasn’t happy for few years about his treatment from a contract point of view , having not getting the Captaincy and the a few of crazy fans treatments for years their previous president still decided to keep Mitch before his no move kicks in which ending up creating all these nonsense for Mitch out there publishing about how rubbish for players to play in Toronto, if they had managed it well trade him away two years ago it will be beneficial for the Leafs , the Fans and the next Great one Mitchy Boy. Today the same situation with Morgan they should either buying him out or persuade him to change a new team to save the cap 5.5 million otherwise Morgan will become a next Larry Murphy , the Leafs is batting on Morgan poor performance because of him being a first year father last year , what if it was not the reason , what if he is aging and not fitting in the chief system, poor Morgan will get boo off the ice this season, please don’t let this happen otherwise the media will connect to the pressure from the fan base and Leafs fans will get all the blame again. Don’t deal with a potential problem at the last minute Tree. Let’s get Morgan Free.
