  1. Oh wow.. when can we lock Boyle up for a spot on the pre & post games for the next 20 yrs? Guy is made for TV. Entertaining, knowledgeable, affable, good lookin… good combo

  2. I couldn't believe THG left Boyle off his "All Time" list for the Sharks a week ago, I know it's a subjective list but he literally must have just forgotten about him or something. Easily top 10 for 90% of Sharks fans I bet.

  3. Hey Guys,
What a cool surprise. Having the 4 of you made for a lively conversation and adding Dan (who I always liked) adds the insight of well respected NHL player who played the game at a high level. Really looking forward to seeing what kind of conversations you guys get into now? hahaha

Okay…Tom Cruz… Full disclosure I am not a big fan but, I like many of his movies. Something about his affect when he is off screen kind of bugs. The whole scientology thing too is just a bridge too far for me. That said I do REALLY like a lot of his movies. Most of them in fact.

If I give my top TC movies I would have to say in descending order A Few Good Men, The Firm (I can't believe none of you mentioned The Firm?), Jerry McGuire and The Last Samurai. I get that TC has a lot of movies to keep in mind but, none of you mentioned The Firm??? That is one of my favorite TC movies AND that is where you get the TC sprint. hahaha

I am a huge music fan and am not really into Match Box 20. I can't think of any of their songs even so I get the WTF moment there. hahaha For me if you put a gun to my head or even just tell me I only get one band to listen to for the rest of my life it's original Journey before Steve Perry ruined my favorite band. If you don't know what I am talking about then you have some homework. Go to Spotify and check out Journey's first 3 albums (Journey, Look In To The Future and Next).

Captaincy I am with the no captain crew for next season. I think the leadership group is good enough for now to manage without A captain. I also agree with Dan that it's probably not a good look to put a C on somebody's jersey and then trade them or let them walk via free agnecy a year later.

My favorite Dan Boyle moments: I loved listening to Dan in Montreal speaking French to the reporters (man of the frikken' world stuff right there) and I liked it when reporters were trying to do their job after a rough night for the team and Dan was not feeling it. Normally Dan was always a good interview with intelligent things to say while not crossing the line of the sanctity of the locker room and what went on there. That said when Dan was not into it and a reporter asked a weak or straight up bad question Dan would lose his shit and I loved watching him vent at reporters not doing their job well from time to time. hahaha

Thanks boys for a fun and lively round table.

    Cheers,

    Peter St. John
