Is it David Pastrnak’s Team?
What if I told you the Boston Bruins’ most dangerous weapon wasn’t a top draft pick, wasn’t projected to be a superstar, and wasn’t expected to carry the franchise on his shoulders? In 2014, the Bruins used the 25th overall pick to draft a skinny kid from Havířov, Czech Republic — and that pick completely changed the future of the team. That kid was David Pastrňák. Fast forward to today, and he’s not only the best player on the Bruins but one of the top right wings in the entire NHL.

Is David Pastrnak the best right winger in the NHL?
Imagine how good he'd be now on a talented team?
Best right winger third best player
My 7yo daughter starts her first season of mites this year and she chose number 88 because of Pasta. And we live in Massachusetts so I'm honestly kinda shocked every other kid on her team didn't want 88.
Still think last season was his most impressive. With just how bad everything was going for the Bruins, and Pasta still puts up the production he did…at the very least that was fun to watch.
Pasta is a top 10 player in the league and showed last year he can carry a team by himself (which is less than desirable, obviously). I don't want to think of where the B's would be without his leadership and phenomenal talent.
I remember when Pastrnak was drafted, I thought, "Oh, I hope he can sort of become our new Tyler Seguin." Wow, what a person and personality David is. I have been so impressed with how he continues to grow his game and his character. As you noted, he developed his game from pure shooting to playmaking, and he has trained every summer to get bigger and become harder to knock off the puck so he can forecheck better. And he's now grown to fulfilling a leadership role, encouraging other players to sign with the B's, or stepping up and scoring goals when the entire team is having an off-night (or off-season, lol). (Sigh, full disclosure: When Lysell was drafted, I thought, "Ooh, maybe he can be our next Pasta." 😢😭😿)
Hard to say, I like him, when I saw him first time at WCJ2014, he was 17 and I was just amazed. Skilled, smart natural playmaker, really, he can score, but changed himself a lot in Bruins, he is playful, likes fun, his famous pass on Krejci 3 on 3, bloody hell… But, Kuch is also good 🙂 they are the best wingers
He's the envy of every team for sure! He's the best right winger yes and still lots of time to smash records.
He will forever be my favorite player of all time, and my number one choice on a team captain
The best name I've heard for the Marchand-Bergeron-Pastrnak line is the Ratatouille Line.
Marchand – Rat
Pastrnak – Pasta
Bergeron – French guy
I am going out on a limb and say, Pasta is the best thing that happened to the B's in some time. ON and OFF the ice. he excites fans.
Pasta makes players better. Pasta is a scoring threat. AND, he does even better with another scoring threat on ice with him.
Pasta is absolutely the best R.W.. and im dam glad he is a Boston Bruins
No doubt. Pasta is a the right winger.
He sits hockey stance in the corner during tv time outs. Thats focus.
Right wing is pretty deep. I'll say he is top 3 IMO for sure tho.
Give him the "C", he has earned it.
When he gets Hagens centering him, he could be getting 70+/year.
in my opinion pasta should have the C, he played a long time with chara and bergeron and he is by far the best player they have right now.
great profile on pasta
