I can't believe people keep giving MSL credit like saying he was "trying" to build soem confidence in the players…really is that what you saw?
He has over played Matheson every single year that is a display of NOT instilling any confidence at all in anyone else.Xhekaj NEEDED ice time to develop this has been a rebuild not a Stanley cup run but all he did was keep benching Struble nd Arber.
IMO MSL is clueless he does not know how to IMPROVE players he is always a TRY HARD coach even though it might hurt the team the players in the long run he only cares about his ego he MUST win ever game at all costs.
Then we can talk about the structures like for example the PP he TOLD the players how to develop it he did NOT allow them to think or learn or to be versatile so again no confidence building just do what I tell you even if it is WRONG.Yes he is WRONG you never want to be predictable but MTL's PP setup is extremely predictable >>>MSL is a bad coach.

The 7D are fine, they compliment the speedy forwards.
I don't understand why they would have to get rid of Price contract at all? What would they gain from doing so, since he can be put in LTIR? Technically, it's a bit annoying when it comes paperwork, I would guess, but I wouldn't pay anything to get rid of what appears to be such a small hassle.
So this might be a dumb question but who would take Price in a trade if he cannot play anymore?

I saw a very smart comment about Price's contract. With the McKenna draft upcoming, tanking teams might want to take on a bunch of dead cap in order to put a terrible team out while still being cap compliant. It might have some value to it this way rather than needing a pick from the habs to get rid of it. I'm sure Kent will work his magic.
