Seider reminds me of Nik Lidstrom with brute. Can’t wait to see him in a wings uniform! Love your Wings content buddy. KEEP IT UP!!!
Been very hesitant to say this, but his decision making and all around defensive play reminds me of Lidstrom.. then add his physicality, the kids a MONSTER. I want Stevie to wait and make him Captain!
I'm disappointed with Valeno. I think he'll be a bottom 6 guy rather than top 6.
Seider reminds me of miro Heisken
I see ONE reason to keep Moritz Seider in Grand Rapids or in the SHL. Next year Seattle gets to grab a player off of every roster. If Seider stays in GR or in the SHL, he is not eligible to get drafted to Seattle. That also means, the Red wings have one more slot for protecting a player that they want to keep.
I am willing to sacrifice one year, if it means we can keep a player or two that we brought in free agency (Like Namestnikov, Stetcher, Greiss, Ryan) who proves their value after the 2021 season, and Yzerman wants to keep on the team. Especially if it means we could have a good core for the future. Save the spot this year. Bring him up in 2022.
Tale of two prospects here, one quietly dominating and the other still getting to grips with things on not the best team in the league. Not reading too much into Veleno, from Gio's summary of the game he's engaged and showing signs of growing confidence. Seider has just hit the ground running, he's used to European rinks anyway and has just slotted in there like he's been there for years. Once the NHL starts and the SHL finishes it's going to be mighty hard to justify not giving him a shot. I understand that Nik Kronwall is in Sweden mentoring prospects, perhaps Seider is learning from the big man and it's paying dividends……

Seider just casually outproducing Broberg in half the games. I said Seider was everything people hoped Broberg to be and more during his draft year. Still holds true now. Kid is just a beast
