  1. How much is price still owed? Will insurance still cover his remains salary if they mutually agree to end contract. Or forfeits the remaining salary?

  2. how about retiring C.Price & make him GM assistant / pay him say 5m or something w out overvaluing the negative factors . 2) As 4 trading him Montreal should talk to Edmonton.

  3. How bout Hughes knowing the agent side of the game and their lust for the green backs. It is not the players they are fighting for to get maximum dollar but for themselves and the big fat percentage they make off the deal. The players HuGo and the scouting team have acquired seem to be TEAM first kinda guys and teammates who want to achieve both as individuals and to be champions. They have tremendous camaraderie. Former first rounders like Dach, Newhook and Laine see and feel this. They love the game again. Players see not only we building a team for the present but lined up to be successful for years to come. The question is do the players want a fat wallet, cars ,homes or do they want to be players that leave a legacy,to be part of a Dynasty since the Oilers in the eighties. All the while they will still be multi millionaires but with Stanley Cups, Conn Smythes, Norris, Hart, Vezina, Rocket Richard, selkes,Rookie of the year, all star appearances and HOF careers! The choice is theirs. I am sure Hutson would sign and be tickled pink with ten years at eight mill . GHG

  4. i m 57 and i ve seen a boat load of players since the 70 s , " suzie " makes me think of JOE SAKIC . same demeanor , same present calm !
