   Carey Price and a 4th round pick for future considerations being 1 of the biggest moves of the offseason trade wise is so depressing. Feels wrong but it has to be done otherwise they wouldn't be able to carry extra players and makes call ups so difficult.

   So the Sharks would have to give a rostered prospect to complete this deal where we get a paper contract, a pick, and have to pay around 2m? Better be a lot better than a 5th, should be a 2nd or 3rd at worst! I'll bet it'll be a 4th or 5th. The other positive is that it allows both Misa and Dickenson to be signed.

    I genuinely think the Habs should've got Rossi this offseason and avoided Dobson I still don't think Dobson is what they needed with Hutson and Matheson fine for their PP units Dobson is almost redundant but Rossi over Dach is a huge improvement as well as costing a fraction likely 1 of Montreals 1sts would've got Rossi and a 2nd or 3rd round pick

    That's a pretty big contract to take on and the Canadians dont have much leverage. Whatever team takes it on, should ask for a high pick and a decent prospect.

    Pittsburg is gonna trade for Carey Price contract……..there's only $ 800 000 dollars remaining to be paid to Carey Price after september 1
    Allowing pittsburgh to drop below the salary floor buy 10.5 million dollars
    That will give pittsburgh room to trade

    without going under the floor
    This is simple economics……I don't understand why nobody else sees this….

    The center market is so thin right now that Jesperi Kotkaniemi's contract isn't nearly as bad as people think that it is. He's only slightly overpaid, but teams are so desperate for a 3C right now that he'd probably still get 4M AAV if he was a free agent this offseason.

    I'm not a believer in Kirby Dach, but Montreal is stuck with him because there aren't other options for them at 2C or 3C. Carolina's in the same situation with Kotkaniemi.

    San Jose is near the contract limit which could be a problem for them, so sending a 2-3 contracts back to Montreal (who have plenty of contracts space to accommodate) would be the only stipulation to make this make sense for them IMHO

    Me as a habs fan I don't want carey price to get traded I want him to retire as a montreal canadien after his contract I will be upset and crying if he's traded 😢

    Two things not really mentioned as to why SJ is motivated to do this: They're near the contract limit (49 out of 50) and don't currently have room for both Sam Dickinson and Michael Misa contracts without getting rid of other contracts – so there would probably be a couple AHL-level players going back to MTL. Also, the Sharks have a number of contracts expiring at the end of the season, so if they want to dump multiple players at the trade deadline, there's a possibility they'd be at risk at dipping below the floor – having Price's contract would ensure they don't need to worry about that.

    Like the channel, the content you deliver on a regular basis. I have one very minor critique. I know I'm going to be in the minority on this one, but I have light colored eyes and as a result I'm very light sensitive. When you put a white screen up in the video, it just absolutely blasts me. It hurts. What I do, is start the video and open another tab. I end up listening to it, but not really watching it. Like this video, had A LOT of white in it. I know, because I would click back to the open tab every once in a while, to see if you changed the white background.

    I don't want to complain, cause I love the content. It's just I wish I could actually "watch" it. 🙂

    When you go full screen with your cam, everything is fine. It's the white web pages that are rough. And I know the hockey stats are important so I'm not saying you should stop presenting those. We need to see the season stats and the website just uses white unfortunately as a background. But this video, had some quotes that were just on a white background for a while. And because I view these YT videos on a large monitor, it turns it in to a situation similar to being hit with high beams when you're driving.

    Anyways, sorry to bring it up. Everything else is great about the channel, just wishing I could view the videos more. 🙂

    As a former Coyotes fan, taking on a cap dump has one mitigating factor. Management is telling you not to expect much anytime soon. So relax and enjoy the suck.
