Flyers Daily with Jason Myrtetus 8-29-2025

Flyers Daily with Jason Myrtetus: Final Friday of August so we decide to clean out the INBOX and respond to many Flyers Fan emails and DM’s with a very specific break down of who should play with who this coming season. We deep dive into Matvei Michkov and discuss the best possible line-mates for him and who will best fit with Trevor Zegras at Center. We also feature our first Flyers Hometown Assist Winner Ricciardo’s Pizzeria in Berlin New Jersey.

  1. This whole plan is based on acquiring a 1C via free agency or trade. If Zegras can’t play with Mich feels like we’re already saying he’s not even a potential 1C with this team. If he’s not a center at all. then this will probably be a one year stay because of depth of wings in organization. Forester Zegras mich. see how it goes. If not move on.

  2. zegress needs to ask lindrous for teaching on face-off my opinion

like to see zegress be 57% guy on face-off

I believe he was 38% last year ?

  3. I'll take zero national tv games…..I usually can't stream them so I miss out living outside Atlanta nowadays.

  4. Rodrigo Abols is under rated by many. He looked better than most of the roster when he had some time last year…he speaks multiple languages and can play Center. Him in the middle, adding strength and power, with Michkov on one side, and Foerster on the other, would be a great 2nd line after Tippet Zegras TK… That allows us to use Dvorak line 3 and Couts 4C, the reduced minutes will help Couts, the top 3 lines get almost equal time, line 3 maybe Bump Dvorak Brink? And 4th Cates Couts Hataway/Deslaurier depending on whos scratched.

  5. Hope all is well Jas! Love your insight and your hockey knowledge. Also you do a hell of a job interviewing players. I buttered you up there to say this haha, I'm not trolling just a lil' constructive criticism. I know your anal with things, however you should def nix the date in your video title and replace it with players name or whatever. Put the date in the description. Keep up the good work!
