   Leafnet tells teams with defensive problems that a offensive defenseman is the answer to said defense issues… I mean Petry is what he is and that has value, but he has never been a defensive rock. Square pegs and round holes imo.

   No good team should trade for petry, he’s mid 30’s, is awful, and makes way to much money for way to many years.

   Petry disappeared further each round of playoffs last year,,,he’s great against bottom 10 teams ,,,no good for playoffs ,,,,,,,

    Petry is playing a lot better since the coaching change. I would take him. And yes He's 34 but his skating is still elite and plays lots of minutes.
