Who you give to the ducks to make the trade happen. Can't send them a Center. We don't have any that good for trade. And they wouldn't take a downgrade. What do we have they might want. That's an upgrade to them??
In my mind, it costs Guhle, a 1st rounder and another solid prospect.
I wouldn't go to 4 players like the Knights and Sabres did for Eichel. He's not that elite and proven thus far. In my opinion.
3rd player could be something like Beck or Florian. In my book but they would be asking like a Hage on top. Still a center but seen to them as an immediate downgrade.
Tough call. I don't wanna sell the farm on that. Not breaking the core. Might make it impossible for us to get him. We'd have to sacrifice a precious lamb.
Plus, that immediately terminates all hopes and dreams of ever seeing Crosby in MTL ever.
I would say no, because it will cost them huge assets to get him, salary included.
We need another year to be able to trade for him. We dont have enough assets
