Jani Hakanpaa, a free agent defenseman, has been fully cleared from his knee injury and is looking to sign with an NHL team for the upcoming season.

Hakanpaa has been an effective third-pairing blueliner and brings physicality to the table, with 899 hits and 45 points in 290 career NHL appearances.
