You guys mentioned Zach Azzani. I had heard the complete opposite of what you said. Former NFL scout Nate Tice said on the record, that "The Steelers WRs looked to be very poorly coached in 2024"
Tice & the person who runs "Reception Perception" (I forget his name) said that Azzani's track record is pretty poor overall & that his units appearing to be poorly coached is a trend, including the 2024 Steelers.
I was curious about this & I cut the tape on from the preseason: I saw the WR unit do a lot of "JV" stuff: the head & shoulders fakes that do nothing, not leveraging routes correctly, routes being tempod when they shouldn't be & vice versa, & most concerningly, Steelers WRs are just not great at the top of their routes. That's where WRs separate & Roman/Cal don't separate like you'd expect bc their technique isn't great.
Im getting really tired of the negative rhetoric about the team people are supposed to be a fan of.either root for your team or go watch soccer.
