2025/26 Buffalo Sabres Roster Preview: Devon Levi
The preseason for the 2025-2026 Buffalo Sabres is rapidly approaching and, here at Rippdog Sports, we will be previewing the roster by looking at 23 of the players in the organization projected to have the biggest impact for the Sabres this year (3 Goaltenders, 7 Defensemen, and 13 Forwards). We will start with Devon Levi, a player the Sabres had high hopes for after he burst onto the scene at the end of the 2022-2023 season, but who has proven unable to carry the load at the NHL level. With the Sabres opting for veteran Alex Lyon to serve as backup in 2025-2026, Levi, on a shiny new two year contract, will have a chance to reset and develop properly down in the AHL with the Rochester Americans.
