  1. Too bad I didn't knew anything about climbing 8 years ago but man you can feel that this video is special. Thor's personality is infectious haha, you can feel he is having so much fun

  2. Love this video with Thor. I turned 40 this year as well and I still climb regularly, but I definitely feel my body doesn't recover as it used to. Cheers to "old guys" climbing!

  3. I am 58. It was when I turned around forties that people started saying stuff, like wow you are really fit and it is surprising you can go as long at it at your age.

At first it is weird to hear it, then like now, it is just annoying. It is ageism. Which is widely accepted in society as being real, but it is all just made up social bullshit.
One 58 year old could have brittle bones an arthritis and weak immune system and bad cardio. And none of it has to do with being 58. And then me, who has never broken a bone ever.
I haven't had even a cold since 2018. I started doing Parkour when I was 52. I just left a Parkour discord group, the admin actually even made a post, Do a line that EVEN a 58 year old could do. He had already seen me in multiple videos, but was like, I didn't realize you were that old. But he said that is how people commonly understood the world, so he felt that needed to be reconfirmed. Not evolved from.
So I left. No one seemed to give two shits about it, when I went to like the Apex Denver parkour gym.

  4. Nice to hear Thor talk about intention since he has less time to climb. Soon 33 so better get this integrated before im 40 😀

  5. Wow, where I climb there are people in their 70s at the gym. Not necessarily bouldering though. More lead and TR. But I would not like to climb at a gym where everyone was in their 20s. That's not fun!

  6. you only appreciate this content when it's not there
if it's there you just enjoy it
but when it's absent, you start feeling the need of it

  7. thor, you look like you're 28, i hope you dont give a shit about it. you're in that shape with kids n everythin. gz man.

  8. The original 40 boulders video with Tor was one of the first videos of yours that I watched. A little nostalgic and very fun to watch. I too am interested by the challenge of seeing how fit 40, 50, 60, and 70 can be.
