The training camp issues, lack of adjustments to the PP all comes back to Montgomery. He already had one foot out the door and didn’t care to put the effort in to turn things around
I read somewhere that the 2017-18 bruins went young (debrusk, mcavoy, heinen, grzelcyk) with a good mix of established veterans as well and it swung the door open again. Maybe this year they can do the same with minten, lysell, merkulov, soderstrom.
Pasta being 47% of the offence last year should have screamed to the GM that they needed more scoring depth/balance… and yet it wasn’t addressed.
I’m 59. I’ve seen many versions of this team. I don’t remember having so little interest in a season other than this. I suppose to watch the greatness of pasta but after that, what is there watch?
