  1. This might sound crazy, but besides the Price trade, i dont want any more trades. From just about every source ive heard, the locker room is a very tight group. Changing too much might disrupt that. I would rather let this group grow together than constantly changing parts.
    But thats just my opinion…

  2. How many times do we need to wait to see how dach does? I do not believe management is waiting to see how dach does. Dach is not the answer at 2c even if he was 100% healthy. dach has proved that he is not Center material. Management is just not going to come out and say that though. Dach is weak in the defensive zone and is terrible at faceoffs……..This will not change

  3. 80% of the 2M salary is covered by insurance…. so it's actually 400k for the 10.5M salary cap hit…..

  4. If Pittsburg is a seller, they are going to want to be able to go under the cap floor after the trade deadline. Price's contract would facilitate this.

  5. All i heard so far is pure speculation i know as Habs fans we are hungry for news but right now it's getting ridiculous !

  6. Sooner than we expect I doubt it most of us expect it to go down sept 1st, and has probably been a done deal for awhile now just had to wait to make it official.

  7. Another great video Josh. I do think though that when Price's contract moves, Hughes has one or two deals lined up ready to go… we'll see in the next few days.

  8. you been saying this all summer Josh. Why dont you just take vacation and start again once the season begin???

  9. Pittsburg is gonna trade for Carrie Price contract……..there's only $ 800 000 dollars remaining to be paid to Carrie Price after september 1
Allowing pittsburgh to drop below the salary floor buy 10.5 million dollars
That will give pittsburgh room to trade
    Evgeni Malkin
    Sidney Crosby
    Bryan Rust
    Erik Karlsson
    without going under the floor
This is simple economics……I don't understand why nobody else sees this….

  10. Dry summer Josh but keep on with the videos I know there is criticism here but it’s great to have someone committed as you reminding us of things while we wait for the season to start. Not many people are doing that so good work.

  11. Nice if they get rid of that contract, but that guarantes ZERO in a team trading us a 2c or hughes giving up a reinbacher hage cole guhle or whoever 🤷‍♂️

  12. Trading for Price's contract makes almost ZERO sense…There are 4 teams near the salary cap floor ($70.4 M), but ALL are above the floor currently. Unless one of these four teams are trying to dump 6-10 M player which would put them below the floor, then taking on Price makes sense.
    • Anaheim: ~ $75 M
    • San Jose: ~ $75.8 M
    • Chicago: ~ $76.8 M
    • Columbus: ~ $79.9 M
