   I'll never forget waking up that morning, my girlfriend who had been up by that point telling me the news. I could not believe it. Still can't.

   Sometimes I still can't believe this happened….both things.. .that we were so fortunate to have him in Columbus and the unbearable loss of he and Matthew.

   Forever changed….yes, forever in our hearts. ❤

   Just an absolute nightmare that never goes away. Thank God for the strength of the Gaudreaus – all of them – to carry on after this tragedy.

   John and Matthew are missed dearly, they'd be so proud of their family and friends. Please don't drink and drive, it is never worth it.
