Sick and tired of hearing 'I want out to play with my brothers' snivelling. Trade him to the Ducks for Mason McTavish. What could happen to Hughes is what happened to Bobby Orr and the eventual attention he got from the opposition. Get big mobile defencemen. Hughes is NOT a leader.

Hughes is, by more than a little, better than Cale Makar.
Because Makar may be, ever so slightly, better offensively, but his on off numbers are a revelation away from MacKinnon, whereas Hughes makes everyone better.
Hughes also has better Corsi, and other advanced stats.
