From what i understand McTavish has under achieved with the Ducks, But i am not 100% sure. As far as what i would i offer the Ducks for him i am not sure, We need to keep Reinbacher, So after him i don't know.

I still think we can get McT for Matheson, another "non-core" player, and a '27 1st with Carey Price's contract going to Ana.

If Dach could have stayed healthy, I'd say keep everything the way it is, and battle out this coming season to see where we stand.
We are probably a potential-achieving Dach away from being the scariest team in the East!

Why haven’t they signed him yet? It makes zero sense. Sometimes things don’t make sense. Happens pretty often. There have been rumours that players were upset in Anaheim. Also Verbeek is known as old school, he might be low balling him or trying to bridge him when most players are getting nice long term contracts out of their elc nowadays.
I don’t think they’ll trade him this offseason, Verbeek won’t let that happen but I bet you he bridged and this leaves a sour taste in McTavish’s mouth and he’s eventually traded. Players have a lot of leverage in today’s nhl. When players don’t want to be on certain teams they eventually get traded every time.
