he's not wrong, my dad has a story of when he still lived downtown, he was out watching the game that Alex burrows scored the game winner against the Hawks (the dragon slayer) he was at a bar just across the way from Rogers arena.
the entire block was shutdown when Alex scored that goal, there was no place louder than vancouver when vancouver was rockin. sure enough, some of the guys from that Vancouver roster (bottom 6 guys) started walking into the bar. there wasnt a single guy in that bar who didn't buy the players a drink or tried too.

100% disagree. Lived my entire adult life in BC and Canuck fans are the wrost. The first to boo and the first to criticize. Luongo was pushed outta town. Grizzlies left because of the fans. They abandoned the team harcore. BC should be nothing but Canuck fans but both Montreal and Toronto have more jerseys in the stands when they visit. Totally wrong. I bet people would buy you drinks in any city you went out in after a game. Especially Canadian cities. You play Hockey.
