Honda Center is getting a $1 billion renovation to the entire structure for the 2028 L.A. Summer Olympics, the Honda Center is going to be the host of indoor volleyball plus OCVibe, which is an exterior building construction to connect the arena, which is a new concert hall, apartments restaurants, etc.
That's why you saw construction zones there because of the billion dollar renovation, Neil. Also, the Sharks are getting THEIR arena renovated
That team store is absolutely awesome. I walked through it for almost 45 minutes and I'm a damn Sharks fan. 🤣

Man, unfortunately your “customer service” experience with rude and aloof employees has become really common here in the US. It’s not state-specific in my experience and is disappointing.
Love the hat! It fits you well. It's not too big… that's how the trucker hats fit. It's pretty slick, a stealthy nhl team hat.
Sorry to hear your experience at the ducks team store wasn't very good. It might have been the current workers that didn't provide the best customer experience for you. Usually during the day the team store is empty and can be quiet and when I have gone there my experience has been the opposite. I have called before asking for New Era hats to be put on hold for me during the 30th anniversary season a couple years ago and they were really helpful and friendly so it's just surprising to me that you didn't get that service. However the person yelling at you from far away was just terrible. They could have done that better like you mentioned. As a bonus you should have just gone across the street to the Angels team store, which personally I think is very small and not as great as the ducks team store but they do have a lot of hats so that's good.
If the teams of the NHL want to promote their team stores then they should put more effort into advertising them. For starters the things that you can basically get only at team stores and no where else should be promoted on bill boards and any other advertising methods. Not only that but to get a better view of the team stores out there you should be allowed to film in them but there should be rules that you must follow.
You went into a store, they left you alone to do your browsing, and you complained? That would be a dream experience for me. Lol. I hate when they run up to me as soon as I walk into a place. If I need help, I'll go.find someone.

You're nicer than I am. I wouldn't have bought anything. I don't know what is about team stores. I had a weird experience at the Florida Everblades store. One guy was very welcoming, since we were visiting from Wisconsin. The other guy seemed to have something against me. Very odd, and I kind of left with a negative impression of the team.

Unfortunately that’s the culture there in that team store. Zero customer service or common courtesy. Don’t take it personal especially with the employees chatting amongst to themselves completely ignoring you, that has always been common with them on non game days at the store. Glad you enjoyed the building though. Hope that doesn’t scare you away from enjoying an event there in the future.

Too bad the experience wasn’t the greatest from an interaction standpoint. I had an awesome experience with their team store when I ordered their 30th anniversary jersey online. It look less than a week to ship up to Canada! That experience was great but I didn’t have to speak to anybody. 😆
Neil! My dude! It was super awesome to finally meet you! Hope you enjoyed the rest of your trip (especially out in Orange County)! I totally was never aware of the filming inside situation. I did send this video out to my buddy Corey so that way the overall experience at the team store can help improve even the smallest thing that can make the guests & fans experience that much more memorable and enjoyable!

I go to the Canucks team store and the staff there are so nice and very knowledgeable when it comes to the jerseys and jersey quality.
