  1. The closest comparison if he signs elsewhere would be the Tavares signing, if he's traded there was this other oiler in the 80s who was the best player in the world and also got traded

  2. Sorry but Holy fuck the outside noise about this is annoying af and also completely different from people who actually follow the organization and McDavid. I knew since the exit interviews 100% McDavid will be extending in Edmonton. It'll be a 4-8 year deal for whatever dollar amount he wants and it'll be sometime in early September. McDavid has been off having a joint honeymoon with his running mate and only recently got back into town.
I've had zero doubt about this for months. I can't wait for this he's going to x team for a 3rd rounder and a 5 dollar bill shit to die.

  3. I just want you all to know that Conor isn't resigning in Edmonton as he and his family have already found a new house in TORONTO , where he plans on plans on signing with next season !!!!!! THIS ISN'T A PREDICTION , it's a A SPOILER !!!!! ROFLMAO !!!! SLOW NEWS DAY ECK??????

  4. I wouldnt hate him or boo , been watching the oilers for a long time… He deserves a cup forsure

  5. bro i have 3 edmonton oilers hats and one of them says conner mcaidan and a bunch of other mcdavid/edmonton related stuff but if he switches teams im gonna end it

  6. He should negotiate with Edmonton, "Pay me 100× my number of points at the end of the season."
OR, "Pay me 10,000,000× my points-per-game."

  7. I hate to be that guy — but there is a direct parallel to McDavid, the world's best hockey player, who also happens to play in Edmonton being traded for another team.

And that's because it was the same damn team in the same situation lmao.

30 years ago, there was a dude named Wayne Gretzky, the world's greatest hockey player, who played in Edmonton who was traded from his team.

The only real difference is that Gretzky had brought Edmonton numerous cups by that point — so slightly different tones. xD

  8. This kid actually just say that it'd be better to just let McDavid walk for nothing. Than to trade him for an all-star and a couple of decent assets?! What a simple and confused soul.
