If Mika is on the wing he hurts the team. We have to find another C. He makes center money. Get rid of him if he can’t play center anymore. It doesn’t matter what his contract says. He’s violating his contract just by playing wing.
Your obsession with Mika on the wing is misplaced & significantly impacts the team negatively. There is no good alternative as third line center, so you end up with a two line team. Not good enough. Because Mika played with Miller on the wing it does not follow logically that he cannot play center. Last year was an aberration. Forget about last year. If Sullivan makes the mistake of putting Mika on the wing, I will lose credibility in his coaching smarts. A team must be strong down the middle & with Mika as center we have 4 good lines. What is important is who plays with him. We'll see how that shakes out.
First thing Coach Sullivan needs to accomplish is set + enforce accountability.
Totally missing last year. Same slackers cost us game after game.
Rule: If you don't – score – check – try 100% …….. you don't play.
Sit them, send them down, waive them, trade them – whatever…just get rid of them.
Every average working guy's expected to earn his pay – why not these players?
