Giants are way overdue to play well at home
I like your show Allen. You get right to the point and you’re interesting. I see you went to Temple University. I used to live in Philadelphia in the mid to late 80s.
Too little, too late.
As I predicted, as soon as the Giants were too deep in the hole to have any realistic chance to make the playoffs, then they suddenly would start to play well. Everyone should recognize that this is fools gold. They still need to make massive upgrades starting with getting rid of Sleepy Bob and Pat No-Bat.
Having said that, I do appreciate Allen's obvious happiness over the series victory.

What do you mean you want to see more defense on Schmitt? Have you not read his book? He's defense first, had a cannon that's being wasted at 2nd base, which is fine with me, has a glove that vacuums everything… and hitting is a PLUS. Profiles like DJ BCRAW.

I know im going to get hate for this but I would trade Champaman. Create room for Schmidt and let koss or a free agent take 2nd base. Chapman is still good enough to get us something good in a return. This also opens up 3rd for Devers and allows Eldridge to come up and maybe platoon a three way with devers,Eldridge, and Dom Smith for next year.
Allen I really appreciate your style. I've avoided saying that I like you or Ben more, but I think I like you more. One big difference I've noticed is that you're positive, optimistic, have a winning attitude. Listening to you, you tell us reasons to be optimistic and hope for wins. Ben would be telling us reasons to be pessimistic, that the series was a miracle and to expect to lose, like half the commenters here seem to be still stuck on. I can't help but think, if half the fanbase hadn't stayed so negative, no matter how well the team was doing this year, it might have had a better effect.
