Florida Panthers defenseman Aaron Ekblad brought the Stanley Cup to Barrie, Ontario, on Thursday, August 21, 2025.
Ekblad played junior hockey for the Barrie Colts before being the top pick of the 2014 NHL Draft by the Panthers.
The Panthers beat the Edmonton Oilers 5-1 in Game 6 of the 2025 Stanley Cup Final on June 17; it was the second straight year the Panthers beat the Oilers for the Cup.
