The Boston Bruins have a glaring problem: a need for more scoring depth beyond David Pastrnak. But could the solution be a surprise prospect with a lethal shot? Matej Blumel, the Czech winger who dominated the AHL and won the league’s goal-scoring title, was just signed by the Bruins, and the timing couldn’t be more perfect.
This video dives into why Blumel is more than just another AHL call-up. With his explosive offensive skills and a reported personal plea from Pastrnak to join the team, the Bruins are giving him a legitimate shot. Is he the secret weapon that will solve the team’s scoring woes and help them compete for the Stanley Cup?

What d'ya wanna bet that the Bruins start up with zero prospects in the lineup; all veterans.
This is the time of day when I used to listen to Sports Talk Radio.
This is why I hesitate to call players busts. Opportunities don’t come to everyone.
Cam Neely was part of all those big moves 4 years before joining the front office?
Check Blumel stats versus Lysell…unfortunately Lysell has never produced, 22 goals in WHL, NO BIGGIE, then 15 and 12 in AHL, WOW, very little with Sweden, and all I hear about is Lysell, Lysell, Lysell….he will be ok back in Europe as bigger ice and less physical…time to move on from pinning hopes on Lysell. sorry
