Laine is a quality player with size – but like Chytl, major health questions.
Stamkos was a terrific player, but on the decline. I have zero use for the Laffy we saw last year – gets a generous contract, and then stops scoring, checking and on occasion, even trying. Question is what Coach Sullivan can get out of him.
Do not trade Cuylle. Period.
I hate that proposed Montreal trade. It's Kent Hughes whose in charge there, not Jeff Gorton. I was so angry at Gorton when he traded JT & rejoiced when Gorton was canned. Laf for Stamkos? Forget it!!! Absurd! Buffalo trade is worse than absurd, it's delusional! I'd trade for Byram in a minute. but not including Schneider. We need to keep D, except for Soupy. A great D corps is essential to winning Lord Stanley. Who wants Pelech? Islanders can keep him. I might trade Othmann for Byram.
Nashville trade is idiocy. Getting Laine doesn't help. Cuylle is going to be our Tkaczuk so no way he gets traded. Chinikov is interesting, but like Othmann there's no guarantee he'll be a Top 6 forward … and he's injured almost 25% of time, that's someone you might risk a 2nd rounder on, but not a legit prospect who is pretty close to being his equal. Morrow trade is stupid, he's young and can QB the 2nd PP unit (I mean who else will?), Pelech is 31 and declining fast.
Schneider trade is at least defendable (the only one) especially since Byram is also young, but since he can switch to the left side and is solid defensively (an issue for us), I prefer to keep him.
Hate these specs:

Pelech… no
Tuch… no
Lets stop raking about giving up youth for age.
Not trading Schneider for byram
I woukd give them vakineinan berard soucy ( retain 1/2 salary) for byram and pick
