Panthers have a real shot to become the first dynasty (3 championships in a row) in 40 years.
One could argue Oilers, Avalanche, Devils and Red Wings had dynasties and maybe they had. But for me three championships is the merit that truly makes a team dynasty.
So the kings from the same era are just an after thought?
The Kings were the #2 team of this Era. Imo

We need to talk about how the panthers are gonna be one of the best teams during the salary cap era. If they 3peat, it will be a historic accomplishment as they would be the first team to do it in this new era of hockey.
As great of a team as they were they're not considered a dynasty they win 3 titles in 6 years dynasty status in sports is at least 3 titles in 4 years 3 in 5 is kind of a gray area but either winning 3 straight or 3 in 4 is what most people consider a dynasty
