I got mine for around $68.00 + s&h. I have several good skinning knives of different brands but, more importantly, of good steels. I happen to really like my rem elite 2. It works quite well on deer, Reed buck, and on hogs in the up to 150 lb range. Hogs bigger than that, the blade is about an inch to short. It's also to big for anything raccoon size or smaller. It's a very good knife all around and can be used on elk sized animals with a little more effort, it would just be easy with a longer blade like I said. I prefer a knife with a 4" blade, but this is a good skinner. And I am a knife/steel snob. I'm going to do a video at some point with all my skinning knives.
could do without the stupid music and the guy fumbling to get it out. i got the 2 blade hunter and was trying to find a video about it but all i get is some russian or polish guy who never hit the translate button when he did his videos
