Great deal. Rossi needs to prove he can put together a full season. What i mean by that is not disappear for 10-15 games at a time. Be relevant at the DOT and in the playoffs. Beef up a bit and be stronger on the puck. Dude has all the skill to be a top 6 guy. Prove it and in 3 years you can get your big deal.

Brutal deal. If we want to keep him, we now have to deal with him and Yurov needing contracts after giving major contracts to Kap, Gus, Jiricek, Ohgren, and Buium, all while Rossi gets full control over the negotiations. In reality this was a contract that guarantees they want to, and will trade Rossi. This is brutal because now GM's would be trading for an undersized player who could walk after this contract, and Rossi gets control over the negotiation, yet people think his value could go up 😂😂😂 yikes
In all honesty, I’m pretty happy unfortunately get rid of our captain Spurgeon. There’s nothing he can do to make the wild win a Stanley Cup. He’s too little.

Rossi shuold have asked for a No Move Clause or Modified NMC.
No one was going to give the Wild what they wanted in return so they sign him to basically a friendly team deal or he was never going to get a better deal with anyone else.

I like these deals… it doesn’t crush our bankroll and it forces Rossi to step up his game to impress either the Wild or another team so he can THEN lock in a longer and higher payday. I think this is great for the Wild. Rossi is worth more than this, but it forces Rossi to play harder/better over the next few years.
Rossi is gonna go balls to walls. And get all these younger talented players on the ice so they can ball out tooooo!!!!
