Lankinen or Demko cause the Canucks have a “Silovs problem”

This is a clip from a previous episode where we talk about Kevin Lankinen, Thatcher Demko and Arturs Silovs all needing some clarity on what will be going on next season in net.

In other words, we need some top 6 help and the Vancouver Canucks have a lot of good goaltending.

And ya….Abbotsford winning the Calder Cup did something to the simulation.

  1. Demko needs to be traded. He is a great guy but he can’t stay healthy. But trade him only for someone that can help the team now.

  2. lets be honest, Demko will never be the same good as it was. family , injury, age. Shilovs struggle in the begining of the year. petey-miller destroying team, long offseason. he wasnt ready i dont know why. maybe poor training. or he was still some healt issues even at the start of season.my opionion, Shilovs likes consistency, when he play back to back games all the time he getting better, when he plays 20 games or less per season hes rusty. he said this aswell, better to do 60+ games in abby and not 20 or less in canucks. if canucks cant give him this they he will be poor i think. its only my opinion , i can be wrong. i will root for arty party in any team ( latvia lets go 😉

  3. The Vancouver Canucks' most surprising bright spot this season has earned a raise.

The team announced Friday that they agreed to terms with goaltender Kevin Lankinen on a five-year, $22.5-million contract.

“Kevin has done a great job for us in net this season,” said Allvin in a statement released by the team. “Right from the start of the year, he has shown a strong desire to compete and a willingness to do whatever it takes to win hockey games. A good leader and teammate, we wouldn’t be in the position we are in right now without his strong play.”

Per The Athletic's Thomas Drance, the contract contains a full no-move clause for the netminder during the first two years, then a modified 15-team no-trade clause for the final three years. lankinen stay atleast 2 years in canucks.
