  1. It been 2 years that I am saying that if he want a career in Montréal he will have to accept this kind of role.

Makes me think à lot of Eric Messier who had a good career on the wing as a defensman. He even was an important player in Colorado in their Stanley cup run back in the days

  2. 😮 I get the feeling he will be running around stirring up too much trouble as a winger. He has more responsibility and focus on defence

  3. I always thought he would make an impactful 4th line player who doesn't hurt you defensively.

  4. This suggestion Arbrr up front was stolen from Stephane Leroux last year…. Sad Tony seams to steal great ideas from others

  5. Tony Marinara has the dumbest takes out there and you Lego are the dumbest peddlers of these dumb ideas

  6. If we can't have a spot for him on the defense because we're stacked i would rather turn him into a 4th line player than just give up or trade him.

I wouldn't even be surprised if he played better as a winger without most of the pressure from the defensive work on his shoulders and you can't teach a guy to be a menace like this. You're "him" or you're not.

  7. Having a policeman on the wing, shades of years gone by with another left winger named John Ferguson who played with Beliveau and Cournoyer. Fergie was respected throughout the league in the 1960's. In Fergie's last year he scored 29 goals.

This probably would be a wise move. You could call it the "Pound for Pound" line.

Marty has to think horizontally and vertically with the players on the team.

  8. I think he can, and should be used "situationally" on the wing. But not full time. Roll 7 defensemen, with Arber eating minutes at both defense and forward.

  9. Florian-Veleno?-Arber…. or Bolduc center if there is no place for him in the top 6.
I had a conversation with someone in the comment section from one of many habs related videos.😂
