The Most Hated Team in the NHL Just Got Even Better – Part 1

The Vegas Golden Knights have gone from lovable underdogs to the NHL’s most hated powerhouse. Now, with Mitch Marner joining Jack Eichel, they might be unstoppable. But can the rest of the league do anything to stop them, or is another Stanley Cup inevitable? This could change hockey forever.

  1. It’s not “tax free” it’s “no income tax”

Most states with no income tax have high property taxes and other costs of living.

I’m a Blackhawks fan and they have income tax, but the crying by (mostly) Canadian fans about the no income tax is embarrassingly corny.

From 2006-2019 the first 14yrs of salary cap era EVERYONE who won was in an income tax state (including my Hawks 3x, Pens 3x, teams from Cali 3X, Boston, Detroit, St Louis etc)!

What Bill Zito has done from 2020-2025 is nothing short of brilliant and nearly none of it has anything to do with no state income tax.

The reality is Florida TB Vegas the last 6-7 yrs have been run arguably the best of anyone.

Also every city/team in the history of sports has pros/cons!

  2. Didn’t expect a place with great weather, no state income tax, and beautiful women everywhere to not entice professional athletes in their 20s?

  3. Yanks haven't done anything in a long ass time to be hated. And people hate the patriots, because they literally cheated 24/7
