This whole Marner thing sounds like when your ex starts dating someone else and seems way happier and you tell yourself they must've been cheating while you were together. I think Leaf fans should focus on what they have not what they don't. The past is over it doesn't matter.
Montreal isn’t doing anything until they unload Carey Price’s Sept 1st. Giving them around $5M of cap space. If MTL were to trade Reinbacher, then it means they are signing Matheson and Hudson plays on the right side of the D for awhile. That’s solve our centre line depth for a long time, but now have a RD depth issue.
Why would anybody want Reinbacher do your research? He’s had two major reconstructive knee surgeries and another injury which ended his season in April. He’s played a total of 21 games in two seasons at Laval. He may never play in the NHL because his knee is not sound. The Islanders could’ve had him but looked at his medicals and would not take him in a trade. Do you think other teams are falling for the Canadians bull.? you’re supposed to be a professional yet you always keep saying that Reinbacher is an elite prospect. His first reconstructive knee surgery was when he was with kloten Hc in Sweden his next one also a reconstructive knee surgery was when he was with Montreal playing in Laval. And then this year he had another knee injury which ended his season that’s three surgeries on his knee didn’t you ever wonder why he only played a total of 21 games in two seasons if because the man can’t stay healthy and Montreal must be paying you off to not tell the truth as I said, you’re supposed to be a professional why haven’t you reported this? Why do you think he’s only played 21 games as a pro in two years? The man can’t stay healthy and yet here you are lying about him. The Canadian front office have every reason to keep this hidden so that they can sucker somebody into trading for him and getting full value based on his reputation and not his inability to actually play the games. Let him play a full schedule before calling him and elite prospect.
It be stupid to overpay for mactavish when you have a good prospect pool just go get someone cheaper or ride it out another year and see what happens or wait for some sellers come November
Habs long term dcore is now set with Guhle-Dobson, Hutson-Reinbacher. They aren’t solving a problem by creating another one.
