This is Tony D’Angelo’s WWE Debut. Tony made his debut in October 2021 on NXT against Malik Blade. Tony hit Blade with a Swinging Fisherman Suplex to win the match. Later that night, Lash Legend was backstage and Tony interrupted. Tony offered himself as a guest on Lash’s show. A week later, Tony introduced himself to the world. Next week, Tony faced Ru Feng, where he won in 2 minutes. A week later, Tony appeared on Lashing Out with Lash Legend and trash talked Tommaso Ciampa. Next week, Tony asked Indi Hartwell to give a dead fish to Dexter Lumis. Tony said he will get the message. Then they opened next week’s NXT, where he won once again. Next week, Tony bet some money on Carmelo Hayes winning the main event, where Hayes, Johnny Gargano and Pete Dunne met for the North American Title. Dunne hit Gargano with the Bitter End, went for the pin, Tony dragged him outside and threw him into the steel steps. Then Hayes hit Gargano with a beautiful leg drop to retain the title. LA Knight attacked Tony, Dunne joined in and he teamed up with Grayson Waller, Trick Williams and Hayes against them until Tommaso came out for the save.

I like Tony, but i think this mafia gimmick will no fit on the main roster, so i think they will change it soon before he get called to the main roster.
