  1. The tiers for me would be:
    Tier 1
    Panthers
    Lightning

    Tier 2
    Senators
    Maple Leafs

    Tier 3
    Canadiens
    Red Wings

    Tier 4
    Sabres
    Bruins

The top and bottom 2 tiers are closer to eachother than tier 2 and 3 are. Not sure how Montreal is in a tier with Ottawa because they only have 1 top 6 center leaving a massive hole and no 4C that's 2 holes right there and you could argue that Florida should be in a tier of their own

  2. For the Sens you should of mention the players that are not true centre, but are elite at winning faceoffs (Tkachuk and Giroux) i think that you should of mention it for if/when injuries occur.

  3. When it comes to centre depth among Canadian NHL teams, I’d say that of the Oilers is pretty good, with Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl two very versatile forwards. A tear below that I would put in the Jets, Leafs and Sens, with those, going from west to east, the Canucks, Flames and Habs bringing up the rear.

  4. Habs fans will say Suzuki had more points but they conveniently forget that he still hasn't beaten Stutzle's single season PB. Stutzle sacrificed 10 pts or so to be better in his own zone. That's what makes him the better player.

  5. Montreal is a peculiar case Nick Suzuki finished top 6 in point for a center in the NHL last year Only 5 guys went above: Mackinnon, Draisatl, McDavid, Crosby and Eichel. Better than Barkov, Mattthews, Point , Norris and Stützle and Larkin.

But after Nick Suzuki is a weird bunch normally the second post goes to Kirby Dach which we all know have not been healthy much in his career and had showned a more better performance as the right wing on the #13 Caufield (LW)- #14 Suzuki Line (C). Since his transfer from to Montreal Chicago so most of his responsibility have been transfered to Former Avalanche Alex Newhook (C/AG) how ever like Dach, Newhook is more a winger than a Center. Lefting us with #71 Jake Evans who is an excellent forth line center but moving him up from the fourth to the third is an overeach and over that line is clearly a fantasy. while the Former Red Wing Joe Veleno can filled the Center position fourth line if needed.

Hage is a good propect for the habs but his playing style remind us of another winger than a center but it seems to need another year in college before reaching the pro.

#62 Owen Beck Continued his developpement in Laval with other centre #91 Oliver Kapanen and #63 Florian Xhekaj. #76/#49 Jared Davidson and #86 Riley Kidney under the tutelage of forner nhl 4th line center veteran #45/#27 Laurent "Flipper" Dauphin and team Captain #82 Lucas Condotta and former Captain #60/#22 Alex Belzile

The new sensation #93 Ivan Demidov has all the talent in the world to become a fantastik center however giving him the responsability to center the second might be too much for him .

The last thing we wants is too burn another prospect on the pressure cooker that is Montreal where traditionnally a season without the cup is a bad Season.

The last candidate left is the new comer from St.Louis, Blues #76 Zachary Bolduc was draft as a Center 17th over by the St.Louis Blues back in 2021. but the last two season played as a winger. Bolduc has more goals than both Dach and Newhook

So Suzuki (30) , Bolduc (19), Newhook (15), Evans(13) might been the best before Dach (10) and Veleno (8).
