Toronto Maple Leafs forward Nicholas Robertson, younger brother of Dallas Stars forward Jason Robertson, is 23-year-old and a restricted free agent headed towards salary arbitration – scheduled for August 3rd.   1. If they make a move it should be in the name of making this team better…Nick Robertson is not it guys…get outta here with this nonsense.

  2. Robertson will not be a good fit for any contender. He has to play on a team in the bottom 3rd of the league to get some ice time. In my opinion he is not NHL material. Too small. Not usable in the playoffs. I don't see him getting more than $1,350,000 after his RFA arbitration. The Leafs will just trade him or send him down regardless. They will not have room for him on the team next season. They have too many forwards as it is.

  3. whats funny is you have never seen nick robertson win a puck battle , he isnt strong so im not sure were this grit or scrappiness is, he gets flattened everytime someone hits him

  4. Nicky Robs has 2 issues:

    1. He just flings the puck at the net from anywhere no matter the situation.

    2. He loses all sense of his role in the DZ about 15 seconds into a shift. Hes a winger, but he spends half his DZ time hounding the puck carrier below the goal line.
