Many critics of the Saros contract can recognize that his stats have been affected by the lack of depth in front of him. However, that lack of depth has been here for a handful of years prior to his extension. We were in no position to hand out a big contract to a 30yo goalie, because of how incomplete our team is. He was our best trade chip.
Are these deals really so bad, after the Provorov signing? That was rather a contract that surprised me. I would have guessed the Marchessault contract is in the top ten, because the guy is already 34. I guess, the contracts are not the Preds main issue.
It's funny seeing peeps hate on Brady but then him be selected for the Olympics
When you do some research regarding how Brady performed in Canes, I refuse to acknowledge the perception that he sits on one of the worst contracts in the NHL- Emma highlights some of the reasons.
That being said, everybody expects that Brady will look significantly better allready this season. Hopefully the aquisition of Hague and Perbix will help him in this process

You want grossly overpriced players: Erik Karlsson and Tristan Jarry at Pittsburgh.
Connor Hellebuyck’s issues during the playoffs mainly stem from when he is playing away games. On home ice, he’s a Veznia caliber goaltender. Hopefully, he fixes those away games issues in the future.
