How close was Rod Brind’Amour to leaving Carolina Hurricanes for another job?

  1. I think Rod should change his playstyle little bit he is like Thibodeau of Knicks basketball little bit he grinds out his players too much and they gas out at the end

  2. I used to not be able to STAND this man. As a player, I couldn't even look at him. But I'll tell ya, my mind has totally changed. This guy, imo, is one of the best coaches in the league and will DEFINITELY win one. That being said…..LETS GO RANGERS…

  3. Hard to see anybody else coaching the hurricanes at this point, obviously as long as success keeps happening. Would be nice to get another cup though.
Now, if we can just get Rod into the Hall of Fame as a player.

  4. If he had one all star forward, someone like a McDavid or McKinnon, I think they would have a dynasty. I know they didn't want to lose rantanen for nothing but I think he would have been the guy who got them over the hump even if it was just for 1 year

  5. Great coach, I bet the players love him and the fans are absolutely wild . Great job Caroline….you cheap bastards 😂

  6. Bruins fan here (with bag over head)
Brind'Amour: Great player. Great coach. Great guy. Should be in the HOF.

  7. Love to keep you but there is a point in playoff success and our boys have had some. Yes he’s taken us to 7 consecutive 2 round wins. But ECF, all sweeps, and looks like another on the horizon. I love my canes, I love RBA and the culture he’s helped to create. But there is a point that we have to get past the ECF. That may include a replacement for him, as well as Daniels.

  8. Back in the day my mom and dad were big time Flyers fans, he was my mom’s favorite Flyer. Rumor had it he found out he was traded from the media and felt betrayed. My mom was so mad she never watched another game😂 Great player, great coach !
