Ottawa Senators don’t need to win the Dylan Cozens trade to stay ahead of the Buffalo Sabres
The Sabres and Senators struck a big trade last season sending Dylan Cozens to Ottawa. In 21 games, Cozens put up good numbers with the Sens… or did he? Sneaky Joe argues that Cozens is the same lost player we saw in Buffalo the last two years, and he is not in line for success in Ottawa. HOWEVER, the Senators should have more than enough talent with the likes of Tim Stuzle, Jake Sanderson, and Linus Ullmark to be not just a playoff team, but a team that could finish top three in the division, and even win a playoff round.

You're right they're already ahead of the Sabres, so are the other 30 teams. With only 2 top 6 forwards it's gonna be impossible for them to compete……
First off there is no way Ullmark is going to win anything. He joked in the playoffs and he has a history of choking. UPL and Ullmark of of the same cloth very good goalies but not elite goalies. The Cozens deal hinges on Norris staying healthy. If he does he is ahead of Cozens in talent and production. If not it's a bust. The good news is he was shut down last season and had all this time to heal up .
I wish the Sabres were the Panthers not the Sens.
