➜ How To Sink More Putts – Click Here: https://bit.ly/sqputter
If you’re looking for the best putting tip ever you’ve found it. This is no joke. I used to be a phenomenal putter. This was from practicing my putting a minimum 1 hour at the course and up to another 3 hours at home on indoors on the carpet into an indoor putting cup I called the Puttacup.
Everyone loses their putting at one time or another. If you’re not making putts, you start thinking about your stroke. Thinking about your stroke is the worst thing you can possibly do. In order to become a great putter, you need to be target oriented. This is the best putting tip that’s going to allow you to do just that. Don’t believe me? Try it.
I know it can be frustrating when you aren’t putting your best but don’t worry. Now that you’ve found the best putting tip ever, you can watch it and go back to it in the future if you ever lose it again.
I thought of this putting drill many years ago and it has been tested on many golfers with them all saying it works great and helped them start putting great again. So give what I call the best putting tip a try. Once you do, leave your comment below so I can prove that becoming target oriented is the way to become a great putter.

How about a tip for yippers? Literally can’t bring putter through ball. Hundred grips, long, short putters. Ok putting on range but as soon as it’s on course, I freeze. Long puts worse than short. Awful , thinking of quitting…
This guy is good. He needs to check out the National Putting Tour and give it a go! You can learn about this tour at: https://www.youtube.com/@brockgillespie6578
Is it still important to be fit to a certain putter neck? I’m a casual golfer.
Lag putting has been one of my toughest challenges lately. Gonna try this before my round tomorrow! I’ll let you know how it goes!
So I tried this and it works but when I go back to doing my stroke during a round I don’t make them. Should I wiggle in a round🤷♂️
Are you looking at the ball or the hole when you’re doing this wiggle back and then stroke forward do you stop looking at the ball at some point?
WHY DOES THIS WORK?!?!
Very good! Thanks Paul!!!
Add one to the "black magic but it works" camp! Last round I made my first ever birdie with a waggle putt from about 15 feet out. Going to personally require some more distance control and green reading practice to nail down the fine details but I can already tell I'm well on my way to cutting out a ton of putts from my round. Thanks Paul, great tip!!!
Match today. I’m gonna try this. I’ll let everyone know how I do.
Is this just for training?
I tried this out today and shot my lowest round ever a 72. I have never had so many tap in pars. This is really great for lag putts, I had great speed all day. But what I really think about this tip is that you don’t necessarily need to wiggle the putter but the feeling of wiggling the putter makes you have soft hands and that is great for putting. So if you are reading this I recommend just having super soft hands and not incorporating the wiggle. And your putting will improve like mine did.
Golfed twice since I watched this. If I didn't make the putt, I left myself a gimme.
Hi Paul. The point being that it doesn’t matter what your stroke is if you don’t focus on the target?
I started worrying about my wiggle and kept missing the target.
But does it work on 3 footers
I believe I discovered the same thing independently. It’s something I call the “I don’t care put.” I don’t induce an intentional wiggle, I just bring the putter back in a very relaxed fashion, hoping it will push the ball in the right direction. I was amazed how well it works.
Are you saying to do this on the practice green then play a round and putt as you normally would or just continue to do the "wiggle" during the round?
Can you do this on the course aswell
Funny. Ever since i started golf ive always been a good putter.. idc about anything except hit the ball into the hole. I lag putt always. But often they go in from a far.. i just do a natural putt.. dont think much about it. I jist distance. Remembering how fast the greens are. I line my ball up.. then jist go for distance
I had seen this last year and forgot about it. Watched it again yesterday and before I teed off for our league, I did this drill on the practice green. I will have to say, it changed my focus on the course to the target, and I had one of my better putting rounds of the year. Looking forward to seeing if this was a fluke or if this mind set makes me a better putter. Thanks Paul – from a subscriber to your website.
I still don’t know what ‘wiggle means’!!! Does it mean ‘hit’ it?
True for beginners too? Or perhaps works best after you've developed good mechanics?
I've done this for 50 years.
Hi Paul. Thanks for the tip. Last year i saw this tip and didnt fully pay attention that.this was presented as a drill. I just re-watched it and realized we were supposed to go back to a normal stroke during play..😅😅 Ive been using the wiggle on the course for the last year a feel much more confident and consistent. Reading the comments, I realized half of us are playing the wiggle in our rounds too. I guess my question is, Is there any downside to "wiggle putting" during our round? Thanks in advance. Love your channel.
It does work for straight putts. But most of us are already pretty decent at rolling a straight putt. The difficulty in putting comes in matching speed to line on breaking putts. I believe the average golfer has a better putting stroke than he knows, and is a far worse green reader than he believes he is.
no way. focus on the target dont wiggle. thats a better putt
Why don’t you want to do this while playing? Practicing it’s really good, I did not try during match play….as it was said to putt normal during play.
I’ve been looking at my target while putting for 20 years and my lags are usually tap ins where before I was fixated on the ball of the putter face and my distance suffered. Kind of like throwing darts.
This tip is ridiculous. I even tried it and it doesn't work at all.
It works. I did it for maybe 10 minutes today and made everything inside 10 ft for a change. This is my philosophy for every other club(target oriented) but why I haven't had the same mindset with the putter is beyond me. Great drill
Ok, I think it's crazy. I told my buddies, who were not putting well, about this top. After the 6th hole I drop a ball 20' from the hole. Wiggle the the putter and it goes straight in…. First time I ever tried it. You are NUTS!
I’ve never heard of or tried the waggle method but the idea of not focusing of your swing has merit. I’m one who focuses hard on feet position, swing path and strike point and am just an ok putter but when frustration sets in on a bad putting day, I’ll just walk up to my ball, quick glance at the hole and just putt it without meticulously lining up my feet/analyzing swing path/strike point and I turn into one heck of a putter. So the waggle you’re talking about is to essentially clear your mind of all the distractions and allow your natural putting stroke to take over. I’ll try the waggle method next time out. 👍
I do the wiggle naturally and thought I was doing it wrong lol. Will be trying this intentionally next time!!
I am a horrible putter. I have multiple expensive putters, ranging from Tadd Moore blades, to broomstick, to arm lock, to the newest 3D printed putters. I average 44 putts a round. I've done that for years. I am a disabled golfer, so my short game is paramount to my game. I have tons of par putts per round, and quite a few birdie opportunities, but I am the master of 3-putt bogies, and three-putt double bogies. I have tried every tip imaginable, but never one like this. It looks weird, but I'll give it a shot, and make sure to get back to you in the comments. Thanks for the time and the advice.
This worked AMAZING for me today. Huge improvement to my putting
Tried this yesterday
I think it helped on the course but what was really striking was how good my putting was with wiggle on the practice green !
😂😂😂
dude i actually can not believe that this actually worked. yesterday i went to a par 3, 9 hole course and shot a 47 (before i watched this) today i went back to the same course and shot a 37! nocked off 10 strokes. this is awesome! thanks man
This reminds me of Billy Mayfair’s putting stroke in the 80’s. He was such a great putter!:)
just came from the course , im going back out…Will update how it went!

Oh! To have a practice green like that!
An old adage in golf says that "Pro's swing to hit the target, amateurs swing to hit the ball."
First i laughed, but tried anyway, glad I did, best putting day ever, drained one 20 feet for par, plus 10 feet and 8. Still miss the ez ones. But no 3 putts.
It would be a lot more helpful if you didn't take up the whole bottom of the screen with the closed captions!!! blocking the actual putter hitting the ball
Wow i love this putting lesson ❤❤❤
