Terry Pegula is the worst owner in the NHL by far. He hasn’t the slightest f’ing clue what he is doing and never has. The arena is absolute trash and the product is even worse. He has made the impossible possible…..being worse than the Pittsburgh Pirates and New Jersey Jets.
Owen Power is the worst 1st overall pick since Nail Yakupov, massive bust.

One thing I love about Buffalo is their media and fanbase.

Being a Sabres fan for me is like what I think being a drug addict is, they are terrible for your mental state and well being and you know you shouldn’t have anything to do with them but you just want more and more and more and they’ll kill you in the end
I agree with everything except the idea that a city would “fold” based on the performance of their sports teams.
This video serves as a solid reminder that the defensemen aren't the biggest culprit of the Sabres GA woes, it's the forwards that don't know how to cycle properly as forecheckers, or as support for the D in the offensive zone. Two players notoriously bad at this, Cozens and Peterka, have been removed, along with the defenseman that couldn't read when they didn't have support to make a risky pinch (Clifton).

I think a big thing no one talks about is the ownership. Everything aside from that has turned over in the playoff drought and these bad management moves keep happening, so I do believe it might be coming from the voice above the GM. I said it when Lindy was hired he wasn't the right guys and they should have been patient and waited for Sullivan but the grabbed a name tied with the "good old days." It's sad because the city of Buffalo is die hard for this team but ownership wont do the right things to salvage this sinking ship.

I went to a buffalo sabers game with my brother in law and there was not a lot of people in the stadium and my brother in law was yelling and giving Levi pressure I bet Levi could hear him when I tell him this story we both laugh about it

I feel your pain Buffalo. I lost the North Stars, only to see them win the cup a few years later. And now I have to cheer for a team that can't make it out of the first round if their lives depended on it. Never good enough to win it all, and never bad enough for a good draft pick. Let's be honest, MN drafting Kaprizov was a miracle.
The Canucks are no better, entered the league the same year and still no cup
As a Buffalo native for over 60 years, I beg players like Tage, Dahlin, and others, please leave if you ever want to win a cup. The number of players who have left and won a cup elsewhere is amazing. Sabres owner and management have no interest at all in winning.

Dude, the first season I was old enough to follow was the 2012-13 season (year 1 of the drought). Watched throughout my childhood and teen years all the way into my twenties, and I still haven't seen a Sabre playoff game live. Sucks, man.
They need veterans/seasoned hockey players and need elite prospects not just good prospects

As a Canucks fan I'm happy that our expansion brothers Buffalo will most likely never win a cup before the Canucks.

It comes down to the mentality of everyone that has to play for buffalo. They see it as a empty abyss. And instead of building a dynasty with the team they would rather just play mediocre at best and get through their contracts so they can go somewhere BUT buffalo. They dont show any pride when they get here, everyone who gets drafted by us looks like theyre about to cry because they do not want to be here. I am so sick of it.
