Pseudo starter Coach !
Why – clickbait!
Dach, newhook, beck, kapenan should be the 2c rotation this year. Work this option to the bone. Everything will be just fine.
If you're gonna make rumors……. make them make sense 😂😂😂😂SO TRUE
Montreal’s most important thing right now is to get rid of Price’s contract… it puts everything in alignment of what they want. As you say it gives them about that 4.5 million cap space. It gives them space in case somebody comes on to the waiver wires that they really like. It gives some flexibility of calling up players in case of injury… after that, the trades are going to be,money in and money out, where basically two teams are helping each other in certain need.. in other words, a “hockey trade”… fans have to remember not all our players and prospects are worth the value we seem to give them … many prospects( even some of our favourite)will be traded as part of a package in the trade, maybe for a just future draft pick… “there is always a third of the league in rebuild or retool mode at all times”… so make trade proposals that on paper makes sense, but remember there might be a Matheson, Xhekaj, maybe even a player we would believe is an untouchable…
Other pundits have suggested moving Price would cost a second and a B prospect. That may make sense. Two first rounders, find out where he is getting his product.
Thank you for the sanity.
– Price won’t cost Montreal much of anything a 4th at most if there is little interest out there.
But I think There may actually be a couple of teams bidding to take it
Mainly Chicago & Pittsburgh to get to floor
As well a team or two near the ceiling
– O’Rielly mock trade
I would try everything to make it Matheson & Kapanen
Keep Beck as a bottom 6C better defensively and on faceoffs plays heavier
Marchessault – not interested
You are forgetting 12 mil comes off the Habs cap when Gallagher and Anderson salaries come off the books…Habs are fine
The habs should just keep what have right now Crosby would be a lot to give up for just two years dont want to end up like the leafs or oilers go habs
