Go Chiefs. Good player if you want to deliver a black eye, but not if the objective is to win the game by scoring more goals than the other team. 2 points in 32 games is terrible production.
Boo. I heard this Boko story word for word the daily shot after that game. I know there's not much content this time of year but re-runs are no fun
👻
What value does trading Karlsson actually bring?
Given the fact that it hasn't happened yet, it seems Dubas is having a tough time finding a trade partner–so Head Coach Dan Muse better figure out how best to use Karlsson.
Boko is a waste of a roster spot and everyone knows it. What is Dubas' obsession with this guy?
Boko YoMama is like the new Ryan Reaves. He's the physicality the team needs
He's a useful dude to have in Wilkes-Barre and bring up for a couple of games here and there. Philly… Caps maybe. There's just no place for Imama. In terms of production, he doesn't add. I love the energy he brings, but that's.. about it. Acciari will put his life and limb in front of every puck he can, sometimes is a good penalty killer (the hype is overrated) and does nothing much aside. And I think he's still better than Boko. If I'm head coach, Acciari gets waived as your number 15 forward. Imama? Yeah.. maybe a couple of games.
I remember Tom Sestito, who we called Top Sixtito, tongue in cheek. Love me some Imama, shouldn't make the roster unless we decided to trade like 8 forwards
I think it's a good move. He can deliver a hard hit and it's what the team needs more of. He is tough and can wear down other players. Thank you DK, Great show.
He reminds me of a slower Reaves. Everytime I've seen imama he looked like he's skating in quicksand. He's a career ahl player as far as I'm concerned.
If this team wanted a tough guy that can actually play hockey they should of went after Olivier. He was a free agent this year until Columbus resigned him.
If he can be a positive factor on the ice, then why not sign him?
However, the coach is still responsible for putting the best players on the ice.
Boko still needs to provide more than the others in competition for the same spot on the 4th line.
Erik Karlsson is great to have in pond hockey where you're cool with 10-8 scores and don't care who wins or loses. But there is a reason why winning teams have stayed away from this guy throughout his career. Now if he decides to play hard in a 3-game tournament, then he's nice to have. But an 82-game NHL season? Most GM's know to stay away.
I love everything about this kids game, arguably my favorite penguin at the moment
Ive been high on this kid since before anyone knew who he was cause I live near Wilkes Barre and got to see him all year.
Yes, we need those skilled players in the top 6, even wingers for the 3rd line, but we need big, physical, tough players who can actually contribute as well. Imama has been that guy in WBS for 2 years now, he needs a good look and hopefully crack a full time NHL job soon on 3rd or 4th line.
Yeah, this is exactly what the Pens need. Players who can’t skate, shoot, or set up. Perfect.
great story
We need a tough, hard-hitting pesky player who can defend his teammates and drop the goals. Maybe even score some goals now and then.
Hagel was cheapshotting our players.
According to NHL Edge tracking and statistics, there were only five Penguins skaters who were faster skaters than Boko.
Erik Karlsson 23.57 mph
Valteri Puustinen 23.02 mph
Joona Koppanen 22.96 mph
Bryan Rust 22.76 mph
Sidney Crosby 22.54 mph
Boko Imama 22.53 mph.
