Hate to be the black cloud but…we have no competitive 3rd line. Top six is questionable compared to playoff teams. Still have soucy penciled in the lineup? Going nowhere with him.
Missed out in the ability to sign a 3rd line center, not ridding ourselves of Soucy’s contact and then some. Poor job by Drury.
It is worth giving him a shot, but they have to give him a decent winger because in 29 games when he had Forsberg on his wing, he did have 20 points. Then they acquired Brunette in the offseason and the party was over for him. They would be foolish not to play Zibanderjad on the wing … if for no other reason then to pay $8 million to your 3C.

I disagree with you the Rangers have a better than decent, make that very good bottom 6. If we had the bottom 6 we had last year for the years we made the conference finals, I believe that the team could have made it to the cup finals
