I must disagree while absolutely NOT blaming Skinner for loosing Game 7! it kne thing is clear. Akinner is not and will never be a valid number 1 goaly. he will be an excellent backup but simply can't make a stops consistently enough to be a number 1. That shot from Reinhardt was a MUST save for every starter goaly in every league.
I think one of the reasons why Canadians are so critical of our goalies, they don't watch other teams all year long, just their own. If they did, they'll see that Fleury, Bobrovsky, Vasilevsky , Shesterkin all let in soft goals occassionaly. Skinner is an elite goalie, no question.

Skinner has been a winner a wonderful player and it’s about time this young Athlete gets the recognition he deserves 😊
