yeah frustrating Um obviously we need every point we can get but uh yeah frustrating It seemed like a real defensive battle out there at least through the first two periods What changed in the third Yeah I don’t know if they uh obviously they’re a good team Maybe they caught for us but um yeah maybe we got to simplify it Um I don’t know Get some more shots in there What made it tough to get shots tonight for for you you and your line Like it was it seemed like you had a lot of attempts but getting it through their bodies would seem to be tough Yeah I mean they’re a good defensive team Um they’re structured Um we had some looks but um when we got our looks we got to make sure we’re we’ll get it through Um cuz yeah they’re blocking a lot of pucks What can you take from the defensive effort that you guys did show over the first two periods Um yeah I mean guess it was good but also not good enough because they came into the third with a 2-1 lead Um haven’t seen a replay on the first goal but I tried I don’t know maybe I get out of position a little bit and I don’t have time to get into block their D shots and bounce in I know small details and haven’t seen a replay Explore today at nhl.com/blast Um I don’t know I like our compete Um just a couple mental mistakes to give them goals and um you know we just don’t really have the firepower to give out those kind of mistakes right now and kind of bit us Frustrating is it as a group to struggle to score at the moment even though you guys generated some pretty good chances tonight I thought Yeah I mean it feels like we’re doing all the right things Um you know guys are working hard guys are getting above pucks and um hopefully it starts to come I know it won’t provide you any solace in a loss but your first as a kuck what does that mean to you after a bit of a up and down year in and out of the lineup at times Uh not much I don’t know if you heard but after the first intermission the mini minor hockey game the guy that was the kid that was interviewed named you as his favorite player just before you scored a goal instead Did you hear about that Was it neat to hear that at all It was the first time I’m hearing about it but he’s got to find a more offensive player Lincoln was just talking about how thin the margins are right now Yeah What from your perspective where how difficult is it to play under those kind of circumstances when everything is so tight I mean yeah it’s not great but I mean when you get to playoff hockey that’s how it pretty much is anyway So um you know if we got to start playing like that this early um hopefully if we can get in we’ll be ready Busy week with some big games coming up What does the mentality have to be moving forward Just keep doing the right things and you know hopefully it comes Keep draw and that’s the bottom line because we are happy What is your favorite hockey team Quinn Hughes Quinn Hughes is your favorite hockey team Thanks for taking the time to come and sit down and chat with me today generational talent Thanks for liking the video and subscribing
