Please do a crossover episode with Locked On Canucks. It’d be funny seeing you two interact with Trevor Beggs and Kyle Bhawan. That episode would be absolutely chaotic and hilarious.
The reason teams dont want to invest in rossi is he has such a small sample size, and if his camp is insisting on long term high dollar instead of a bridge deal signals to me that they are also not confident in his ability to earn the money hes asking for over the next two seasons, they are trying to strike while the irons hot. Both of those things, if Im a GM, tell me to stay away from it
We were not, nor are we near being a cup contender….lol. We got beat in the 1st round in the 23-24 season by a Canucks team that was on its 3rd sting goaltender and a locker room that was an absolute dumpster fire. We looked lost defensively most of the 23-24 season. We then trade away the only defensive defender we had in McD and bring in Skjei as a replacement, so the defense was not addressed and got arguably worse with replacing McD with Skjei. We also go into the season with Tommy freakin Novak penciled in as our 2nd line center…. LOL We were a contender with this roster????? Do you really think that? Sure we addressed our secondary scoring issue by adding Stammer and Marchy, but we absolutely were, yet again, another bubble playoff team that would require Saros to look like superman to get past the first round. Last year was NOT a fluke. The U2 point streak was the fluke. That led to Trotz striving for more mediocrity. Citing injuries was just another convenient excuse as is the "Leadership Paralysis" lame excuse as a reason for this team's failure is a joke. Other teams in the league add players all the time. Heck the cup winning Cats added many pieces to a team that already had a corp leadership, and it didn't effect them. It's just another excuse that this management team puts out there and our complicit local sports media just parrots these excuses. The only real player we lost last season that played any meaningful minutes while the season significant in any way was Jeremy Lauzon. a bottom line defender on most good NHL teams. We lost Josi, but by that time over 50 games into the season, the season was already lost. It's just yet another excuse the team puts out there that the local media parrots to hope to defer the blame away for the real issue which is the whole management team. The whole group from Henry to Trotz to Poile to Nichol to Kealty all need to be fired, The whole group with the exception of Barry Trotz has been with the team for at least 10 years…many of them have been with the team much longer. We need an overhaul!
Thank you Seth for insightful reflections 👍
These crossovers might be the locked on system’s most interesting aspect-I simply love them.
Best of luck with both Kaprizov and Rossi negotiations 👍
